General Terms and Conditions

1. Scope
This website is operated by Swiss Sabers on behalf of Saber World. Throughout the website, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Swiss Sabers GmbH. Swiss Sabers GmbH offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this website, to you, the user, subject to your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here. The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed through our online shop. Our online shop is aimed exclusively at consumers. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed. An entrepreneur is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity who, when concluding a legal transaction, is acting in the exercise of their commercial or self-employed professional activity.

2. Products and Prices
Product images in advertisements and videos are for illustration purposes and are non-binding. The product images in the online shop are attempted to be displayed as true to life as possible. All prices are in euros and include fees for shipping, packaging and payments. Customs duties may be incurred for the customer. Price changes and price errors remain reserved. We reserve the right to change the prices of the products offered at any time. The decisive factor for the conclusion of the purchase contract is the price in the online shop at the time of the order.


3. Warranty, Guarantee and Returns
There is generally no right of return on functioning items. There is a 10-day "defect upon receipt" guarantee on all items. This entitles you to a replacement of items that have been damaged before or during shipping. If a replacement is not available at the time the warranty is claimed, a refund of the purchase price or an equivalent replacement product (at the same price) can be requested. The damaged item must be returned. ​

Lightsabers:
Saber World guarantees a warranty of 2 years from receipt of the lightsaber on the handle including components inside (namely soundboard, speaker, LED). The blade is considered an item of use and can be damaged if used improperly. This applies in particular to "pixel" blades. Because of this, there is no guarantee on blades (with the exception of defect upon receipt). The same applies to batteries. ​

Accessories: 
Saber World guarantees a warranty of 2 years from receipt of the accessory item. Accessories include all items that are not complete lightsabers. In the event of defects that occur after the warranty period has expired, a repair or replacement can be requested as a gesture of goodwill. However, Saber World reserves the right to refuse this claim. ​

4. Liability
​​​​​​​ The purchase contract is concluded with Swiss Sabers GmbH. By placing the products in the online shop, we make a binding offer to conclude a contract for these items. The contract is concluded by you accepting the offer for the goods contained in the shopping cart by clicking the order button. Immediately after sending the order, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.
For claims due to damage caused by us, our legal representatives or vicarious agents, we are liable in the event of injury to life, limb or health, in the event of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty, in the event of a guarantee promise, insofar as agreed, or insofar as the scope of the Product Liability Act is opened. In the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations, the fulfillment of which is essential for the proper execution of the contract and on whose compliance the contractual partner may regularly rely (cardinal obligations) through slight negligence on our part, liability shall be limited in amount to the foreseeable damage at the time of the conclusion of the contract, the occurrence of which must typically be expected. Otherwise, claims for damages are excluded.

5. Delivery, Shipping and Collection
All our prices include shipping costs. Shipping is within Germany and Austria. The packages are shipped with various shipping couriers such as FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc. and usually arrive at the customer within 7 to 10 working days after the order has been received. We accept no liability for delivery delays. ​ Saber World sees itself as an online shop. Unfortunately, it is not possible to collect the goods in person for logistical reasons.

6. Transport Damage
If goods are delivered with obvious transport damage, please complain about such defects to the deliverer as soon as possible and contact us immediately. Failure to make a complaint or contact us has no consequences for your legal claims and their enforcement, in particular your warranty rights. However, you help us to assert our own claims against the freight forwarder or the transport insurance. ​
